About me...
I am inspired by the transformative qualities of music and movement and I'm passionate about its inclusion in educational settings.

Since graduating from a Diploma of Teaching Creative Dance at Mangala Studios in 2004, I have been conducting classes for toddlers and parents, pre-schoolers, primary and secondary students as well as adults. I work in both mainstream and special needs settings across Melbourne.
​
I completed a Diploma of Yoga Teaching at Mangala in 2013 and from 2007 to 2016 I presented an early childhood ‘Music and Movement’ unit as part of Victoria University’s Bachelor of Education.
​
In 2013 I was invited to run dance and yoga workshops at the Kianh Foundation school for children with special needs in Hoi An Vietnam, culminating in a performance. This was the first of its kind in the region. I returned to Hoi An over the next two years to conduct further workshops with the children, as well as implementing a teacher training program for creative dance.
​
I have been actively involved in theatre for 40 years, having acted in, produced, written and directed many plays and musicals over this time. I still enjoy performing regularly with an ensemble at La Ma Theatre, Melbourne and also produce several children's performances annually.
